Must haves:oBachelor or advanced degree in computer science, IT, Electronics & Communication or engineering-related or data-intensive related fields such as applied mathematics, economics, physics or statistics.oProfessional experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer or related role in the private sector. Includes developing optimization algorithms or machine learning or deep learning models in production settings for 3or more years.oProfessional experience of using either PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras.oStrong proficiency in wrangling datasets through Pandas, Dask or other Python-based data science libraries.oStrong fundamentals in solving analytical problems with various algorithmic solutions.oProfessional experience in end-to-end system design: data analysis, feature engineering, technique selection & implementation, debugging, and maintenance in production.oData Mining & Management / Predictive Analytics / Machine Learning / Optimisation / Business Rules Engines / Geospatial Analysis / Risk Scoring & IdentificationoSolid experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models and techniquesoKnowledge of Generative AI modelsoKnowledge of existing and upcoming platforms and vendors in the market with and leveraging them creatively into wider business solutions(good to have)Good to have:oDemonstrated experience in working on data science for social good problem statementsoProfessional experience in working with the government directly or indirectly in policy-consulting or technology roles settingsisa strongplus.oAbility to create advanced analytical models that are fit for purpose and scalable, to identify insightful trends and patterns from the dataoExperiencein structuring, presenting, and communicating your work resultsoExperience with source control (git) and DevOpsoGenerative AI and experience with MLFlow and other MLOps pipelineoAbility to present complex business and technology problems and solutions in a simple form to address the level of audience from C-level, executive sponsors, and business owners to engineering and operational teamsoStrong appetite for innovation and emerging technologiesoDemonstrate ability to think strategically about business, create technical solutions with end users in mind, motivate and mobilize resources, as well as deliver resultsoFlexibility in terms of working hours and working on multiple tools and technologies
